The Reserved Matters Application (RMA) plans remain at an early stage and we are committed to engaging extensively with the local Cricklewood community in the coming weeks and months ahead of submitting a planning application to Barnet Council in spring 2025.
Public Exhibitions
We held two in-person exhibitions on 5th and 11th December, and a second round of public consultation will follow early next year to ensure we get a chance to talk to the local community about the site, our plans, and listen to your feedback.
Meetings
Alongside these formal events, we are keen to keep in regular contact with the area’s diverse community groups and local elected representatives. Our team will reach out to meet with each of these parties to discuss the proposals, open the conversation for feedback and welcome questions and clarifications. Questions raised in these meetings will be uploaded to the website FAQs so that the same information is shared with all parties. Any other queries can be made by getting in touch with the team at BandQCricklewood@cavendishconsulting.com.
Working Group
The outline permission’s accompanying s106 agreement sets out the requirement for a Working Group to oversee the curation, management and operation of public activities in Cricklewood Green and public open spaces across the scheme. In initiating this at this early stage, the Working Group can input into the design configuration of the public open space, comment on the day-to-day practicalities of its use, share the priorities for the community and overall shape the design of the space.
At this stage of the project, the consultation focus is for feedback on the landscaping design, layout and character, the pedestrian and cycle routes through the site, the format and location of the playspace, the optimum use of the commercial and retail space, and the architectural character and materiality. Please find information on the aspects that are already permitted by the outline application here. We want your feedback on these topics to ensure we can maximise the benefits of the proposed redevelopment of this site.
Please sign up here if you are interested in joining the Working Group.
